Proverbs 27:17 says that as Iron sharpens Iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. We believe that men are a vital part of the family and the church. Our men's ministry is the fourth Tuesday each month @ 6:30 pm. We have a time of fellowship, during a bible study. Our goal is to reach, and strengthen men to to lead spirit filled lives and families.
Iron Workers young men group meets on Saturday each month following the Men's fellowship breakfast. We want to make an impact on young men for Jesus Christ. All ages are invited to come and fellowship with us. We have a time of devotion in God's word, and then do something fun. Just as Men sharpen Men, Young men sharpen each other as well. Every 3rd Sunday, each month @ 2:30 we have a Youth Funday. We have games, refreshments etc, and then we move to the sanctuary for a time of refreshing in praise and worship, and in God's word. One of our fantastic youth pastors preach and teach the word of God in a powerful way. We would love for you to come and be a part of our Youth Funday Sunday experience.

Youth are a vital part of the church. We believe that our youth ministry should be fun, exciting, engaging and powerful. Our youth are involved in many different ministries such as song, dramas, music etc. Youth are not the church of tomorrow, but yet the church of today.
Men need fellowship with other men. The last Saturday of each month @ 8:00 we have a fellowship breakfast for all the men, both old and young. We want to pour into our leaders and our future leaders the Word of God through our time of fellowship. We would like to invite you to come and be a part of Portales Church of God Men's ministry.
As women we are busy with everyday responsibilities that consume our strength and time. Every third Tuesday of the month @ 6:30pm we take time to clear our minds and enter into God's word where we learn that all we really need to be successful in our life is to hear God's voice. Come quiet the voice that is hardest on you, your own, by getting into God's word with other spirit filled, faith believing women.
